More Waiting…

Jacob now has to wait until Thursday to be moved to Mary Free Bed. They want to do some more testing on him because of a spot on his brain that showed up on one of the last tests they did. It is most likely nothing, but they want to be sure before he can leave to start physical therapy. They should get the results back from the bone marrow test tonight, but if you haven’t noticed yet, nothing is ever for certain when it concerns doctors, hospitals, or an illness like Jacob’s.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. You have no idea what it means to all of us!

It is the way of the medical world, if they don’t change something more than 3 times than they don’t know what to do…..hahahahha
Hang in there Erin, once the treatments start it will level off a little.
How is our little Iron Man doing???? Did you wear out all of your batteries yet???? I have a package of presents from friends that I will send once you get moved and I will send more batteries. After seeing you walk on Sunday, I know that you will do great at physical therapy. I bet you end up being one of their best patients. Forget the wheelchair races, we will be doing leg races next time we see you 🙂 Talk to you soon, Lot of Love from Aunt Kim and Uncle Dave.

Hello Erin, Ken, Jacob and Caleb!
Al and I just want you to know how much we have been thinking of you! You are for must in our thoughts at this time in your lives. Al went to Mary Free Bed after his ATV accident and I can only say it is one of the most wonderful places for rehab!! Everyone is so up beat, kind, patient and professional. You will able to be with Jacob every moment and assist in he rehab and care. Also, please look into the “Inn at Mary Free Bed” it is attached to the Center and is only $35 a night for families of patients.
Hugh Hugs for all of you!! Al and Joette
